My current favorite is chocolate silk pie. And I actually made it myself the first time. Blending three eggs individually for 5 minutes a piece seems silly but it is so worth it!

My latest favorite dessert is Vanilla Bean Creme Brule. I used to be a picky kid, and never tried anything new until a few years ago, gosh, what I was missing! I tried Creme Brule at a steakhouse for my husband's birthday, and never looked back! I had to buy a torch and dishes and a whole creme brule cookbook. Though I never got past the recipe for vanilla bean creme brule, because it's just AMAZING. I would eat it literally every day if I could, but my hips won't allow it. I've been looking for more new amazing desserts to try from all the amazing sellers on Etsy, perhaps this is a good excuse to start!

Hmmm, my favorite yummy would have to be pound cake. It is perfection, not too sweet to be smothered in chocolate or strawberries...but sweet enough to be eaten by itself.

Where do you answer the question? If you subscribe, you can't answer the question

thanks

Oh man...you mean I have to choose a favorite?! I don't think I can...Shortbread, brownies, lemon meringue pie...

Shortbread because it's so buttery and melts in your mouth.

Brownies because they are ooey gooey chocolatey evil goodness!

And lemon meringue pie because it reminds me of my grandma...she always makes it for me during the holidays.

I'm a cookie person, I love cookies. My favorites are the peanut butter cookies with the hershey kiss on top, but you know I'm not choosy. I'll eat almost anything except for Oatmeal. I love when you're having a family dinner, and someone brings out a huge plate of various cookies. I think because it reminds me of going to the bakery when I was little and getting to pick out a bunch of different ones.

I loves me some tiramisu! I first had it layered in a goblet at my favorite (now closed)French restaurant... then learned to make it myself. A few ladyfingers drizzled with Kahlua and coffee.... some custard.... some lightly sweetened mascarpone cheese. Ahhhhhhh.....
I also made a version using Twinkies. Now THAT was different.

No doubt about it, my favorite dessert is chocolate cake. Nothing that's trying to be fancy dancy with mousse or raspberry sauce on top - just chocolate cake with chocolate icing and maybe some fudge icing.... soooo good.

I love cake. The "good" kind with loads of the sugary frosting. None of this grocery-store bought whipped topping wannabe-icing stuff! I'll eat almost any flavor but chocolate is my favorite. I told my husband that the best part of our wedding (besides marrying him, of course) was getting to choose our big gorgeous wedding cake. Yum! (o:

There is a bakery on Oahu and with the moistest carrot cakes with creamcheese frosting and itty bitty carrots frosted on each tiny cake. I have yet to find another bakery that makes carrot cakes like this small bakery in Hawaii had. Plus there werent any raisins in them!!! So yum :)

My favorite dessert is Chambord Cheesecake :) Recently, I went to dinner with my friend and I wanted to take dessert home. I told the waitress I wanted to take a slice of Chambord cheesecake home and she said I wasn't allowed because of the alcohol in it. Its illegal for them to allow any type of alcohol product to leave. WHAT? Are ya kidding me? I said "okay, I'll just eat it here.." and I slide it in my container with the rest of my dinner. Oh yes, I WILL go to jail for dessert..I'm hardcore. :)

I have always loved lemon... but not the kind i typically find in stores that is yellow like a lemon, but uuber sweet. A lemon should be tart, it should make you pucker and squish your cheeks together... So I am always fond of lemon meringue pies, although I tend to eat the insides first and leave the crusty part.

Now chocolate is also a favorite, but it is so prevalent and easy to get that it is lower on my personal scale of yummieness. That is unless it is warm out and you offer me a choice that includes Godiva chocolate raspberry truffle ice cream...

I would still want a lemon meringue pie on the side though.

My absolute favorite dessert is what we call Goldenbars. It is a combination of brownies and chocoate chip cookies. My mom would make them as a special treat and I have fond memories of the smell of baking goldenbars as I got home from school.

so hard to choose.
Growing up I always had a very serious thing for strawberry shortcake. My birthday is May 31st and the strawberries are always perfect then. Also, I have red hair and my dad always called me Strawberry. My parents are divorced so I had birthday cake at my mom's and my dad's. I loved getting all those yummies. My stepmother always made some version of strawberry shortcake. Every year she would try to make it different. I think she ripped out recipes from all of the magazines she read all year. I guess now she would just go online!!!!

But anything with dark chocolate will suffice! You know if you aren't Betty Crocker and can't whip me up something special with strawberries involved.

I would have to say a warm freshly baked hot out of the oven blonde brownie is great. I love making them with a yellow cake batter and extra caramel. Mmmm, now I have to go home and make some. If you haven't had my blonde brownie's then you don't know what you are missing. Oh yeah and with vanilla ice cream. Geez now I will be craving these until I can make some.

My favorite is birthday cake and ice cream. The two together are amazing to me. I am a plain Jane as I like a yellow cake with white icing and vanilla ice cream.

I can't get enough. I am one of the brainless eaters that will go until I get sick. It is the best! I remember for my 11th birthday I got 3 birthday cakes. I swear it was the best birthday ever!

Crap, now I am having a craving!! Yikes.

My fav dessert is Red Velvet Cake, BUT only my Granny's recipe. The icing in her recipe is not the normal cream chesse icing that you find in most recipes. It's a white cause base. It's total HEAVEN! I'm an equal opportunity dessert eater though, if it's got dark chocolte in it look out... I'm coming to get it!

i hope i subscribed right...

my fave dessert is blackberry cobbler with some vanilla ice cream on the side. It, to me, is the epitome of summer. We have a lot of blackberries in washington, so its a annual thing to go out about this time of year, pick the blackberries, and make cobbler.

Ooh My Great Aunt's apple cake. It is so wonderful and she makes it all from scratch. I don't get it very often but whenever she makes one, I want to grab the whole pan and run with it! Yes it makes me that crazy! It is the best.

My VERY favorite dessert is Pineapple Upside down cake. My grandmother has made me one for my (and my grandfathers) birthday every year since, well, I could EAT cake. Its pineapple, brownsugar, and yellow cake and full of love and deliciousness.

After that, I really love those RICH chocolate desserts with chocolate inside too! Molten Cakes, SO GOOD! <3

When I was growing up in a small town in Florida (Mt. Dora), my mom would take me to a special restaurant. When we needed to celebrate something good, like an extra good grade, birthday, and sometimes just because, we would go to the Park Bench restaurant. They had the best dessert, it was a chocolate truffle cake served cold with fresh raspberries and a raspberry sauce, with a dollop of whip cream of course. This dessert was my favorite for a very long time and we became regulars. The staff knew our order when they saw us coming. I went on the last day of business for one last slice of cake. When I got married, my moms friend got the recipe from the restaurant and made it for my bridal shower. That was 10 years ago, now I have the recipe and can make my special dessert and reminisce about my my favorite dessert.

I could definitely go for a creme brulee!
The best I ever had was on a small island in the South Pacific with the vanilla farm just up the road from where we were staying. YUM
