Cupcakes, Cupcakes, Cupcakes Oh My!

We just finished completing a huge order. Around 200 cupcakes and 150 cookies. I think we'll be icing cupcakes in our sleep. It's fantastic though. We know how great our products are but when someone else takes the chance to try something new it can be really nerve racking. You're scared that your best won't be quite good enough. Well goodbye knocking knees. We've made our mark and claimed our spot. We may be covered in cookie dough and flour but its all worth it. I will see what I can do about posting some pics of our products.

Great Week

Well we had a great week here at the bakery. We're beginning to make contact with and secure major clients here in the Birmingham Area. It won't be too long before Steel City Bakery is a household name. It's definitely to the point of need extra help. I'm glad to see our hard work pay off.

We're On Our Way!

So the most amazing thing happened a few weeks ago. One the Birmingham News writers did a write up on our cupcakes. Yes applause, applause all around. It's so exciting except for one thing. They didn't use our name in the article. Oh what a sad moment. However, we will take that. It's nice to see our hard work and effort in black and white print and on the web. (Pat on the Back....)
